The last consecutive Wednesday and Thursday of July, loads of Floridians prepare for the popular two-day lobster mini season. Butter and lemon sell like hot cakes and the dive shops are slammed with customers stocking up on supplies. Of course, while preparing for the fun on the water and delicious dinners to follow, remember to keep yourself and others safe. There will be many divers in the water counting on you knowing how far away you should be from a displayed dive flag. Be vigilant in protecting your own divers, as well.
